County Schools offers employees a confidential way to seek counseling services without having to get a referral - for free. This resource is called the Employee Assistance Program (EAP), which is provided by Health Advocate.

Enrollment in a medical plan from County Schools makes employees eligible to seek short-term assistance through EAP with handling personal problems, concerns or emotional crisis issues.

EAP can be a useful resource to help employees through many life situations, such as grief or loss counseling; marital or family stress; divorce or separation; parenting; anxiety; depression; the ability to copy with serious medical issues; elder care concerns; substance abuse; anger; or interpersonal conflicts.

Five free confidential sessions per situation per calendar year are available to employees and their immediate family members, including parents and in-laws.
