Donations are being accepted for this year’s annual Thanksgiving Food Drive.
The Food Drive, which makes donations to students and families in County Schools’ educational program, is organized through Employee Connection.
The group’s goal is to provide and assemble enough baskets to provide Thanksgiving meals to close to 300 students this year.
Food and monetary donations can be made at six County Schools administrative sites – Brier, Roy C Hill, West End ESC, Desert Mountain ESC, Support Center and Mt. View.
Without support from County Schools staff, this event cannot happen. Below are fliers with food items needed and Employee Connection contacts who are accepting food and monetary donations (Checks can be made to SBCSS Employee Connection). A typical, fully assembled basket costs about $35 to produce.
In addition to the food for the baskets, County Schools also will provide books in this year's donations. Donated books can be new or used, but should be appropriate for grade-level students.
Thanks to all County Schools’ staff who support this program that directly benefits County Schools’ students and their families.
