Chiropratic/Acupuncture
SBCSS in partnership with CSEBA offers a combined chiropractic/acupuncture benefit on all HMO plans for just a $10 copay, up to a combined maximum of 30 visits per member per calendar year (January - December) through American Specialty Health Plans of California, Inc (ASH).
This is a self-referred benefit, so you do not need a referral from your doctor. For PPO plans, please refer to the Summary of Benefits for information on the chiropractic/acupuncture benefits available to you.
When you need chiropratic or acupuncture care, follow these simple steps:
1. Find an ASH Plans Participating Provider near you:
- Click the links to view Blue Shield or Kaiser chiropractic/acupuncture resources
- Call 1-800-678-9133 (TTY 711), Monday through Friday, 5 a.m. to 6 p.m. (Pacific Standard Time)
2. Schedule an appointment
3. Pay $10.00 for your office visit when you arrive for your appointment
